Underwater Cutting Solutions Ltd (UCS) Based in Inverurie Aberdeenshire, commenced trading in 2004, and have become a leading contractor and solutions provider specialising in the cold cutting of pipelines & structures, whether it be external or internal cutting, both sub-sea & topside.

To achieve this we utilise a large range of innovative, purpose designed tools and techniques including Mechanical Saws, Hydraulic Shear Cutters through to Abrasive Water Cutting techniques. With our extensive experience and comprehensive capabilities, our standard and bespoke tooling solutions gives us an adaptive ability to offer the client efficient effective and reliable systems in a cost effective manner. UCS are aware that the needs of our clients often require bespoke solutions and therefore take great pride in our talent to design, manufacture and test new tooling to fulfil all client needs.

To complement our ever growing inventory of cold cutting equipment and services, UCS has developed a range of market leading seabed dredging systems and coating removal tooling. As UCS are primarily focused on client requirements, during design stages consideration is always taken with regards to equipment footprint size, ensuring equipment is as small and compact as possible without having a detrimental effect on performance. For this reason UCS can often offer equipment with equal or greater performance capabilities, yet at a much smaller footprint than many of our competitors.
