ComPower specialise in Nav. Aid for unmanned, closed down and decommissioned platforms. Our SCOL unit is based on battery and solar power technology with remote operating and monitoring capabilities. These units are used during dismantling of offshore installations to mark the position of elements that are without power, and they are specially designed to withstand the harsh winter conditions of the North Sea. We also specialise in UPS systems and for communication and navigation on board. Our systems are module-based, service friendly and highly reliable. We have supplied to more than 90% of the NCS.

The key aim of the company is to reduce costs for decommissioning by increasing efficiency during cutting of conductors and casings, anchor chains, flexible risers, umbilicals and any other subsea products.

Our group has over 1,200 marine vessels. Our fleet of semi-submersible DP2 vessels activities include marine installation and decommissioning as well as transportation. We can provide our clients with a decommissioning package including removal of topsides and jackets with a cost effective and innovative solution.

At Decom Engineering, central to our offering is the patented C1 Chopsaw Range, renowned for its precision and speed. It delivers clean cuts up to 46″ OD with an extremely high reliability record across six continents. Our Chopsaw is exceptionally fast—delivering clean cuts up to three times quicker than comparable diamond wire saws—significantly reducing downtime by eliminating wire snapping risks. We also offer comprehensive Inspect, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM) and onshore cutting services.
