Cylinder and Rack and Pinion type deep drilling rigs are used for onshore and offshore wells to depths of up to 8,000 meters. This high-tech drilling equipment has many advantages over conventional drilling rigs, both for exploratory drills and decommissioning in oil and gas fields. FP Offshore Services is a guard vessel management company based in UK. Our head office is in the fishing port of Kilkeel, Northern Ireland. We provide and manage a fleet of guard/chase and survey vessels which operate in the offshore oil and gas and offshore renewable sector.

Not only do we provide offshore support vessel but we have also the capability to provide personnel. FPOS can provide Marine Mammal Observers(MMO’s), Fishery Liaison Officers(FLO’s) and PAM operators.

Gulfstream Services Inc. was established in 1978 providing equipment and personnel to the global Oil and Gas community.

Versatile product lines allow Gulfstream to function in all aspects from well bore drilling, through the life of a producing well, to the decommissioning of idle iron. Product lines include in line cementing heads, high pressure temporary piping, wire line pressure control equipment, hydraulic shears and hydraulic grapples. Development of the Hydraulic Shear and Grapple Division in 2004 has proven efficient logging in excess of 6,000 combined cuts from the Gulf of Mexico to the North Sea. Experienced support from the Aberdeen and Houma La USA locations are provided in the form of certified technicians and 26 total hydraulic tools ranging in size, function and capability. Powered by conventional topside hydraulics for shallow water or a subsea power source for deepwater, most shear cuts are made within 4 minutes of reaching the targeted area with zero consumables. Debris removal grapples and excavation grapples are powered in the same manner. The Gulfstream Service Inc. management team members are experienced in the development of safe, cost effective, efficient cut plan.

It is increasingly recognised that hazardous materials require to be identified, quantified and managed early in any decoms project to help inform engineering options and waste management solutions.

Since 1996 the company has gained over 20 years’ experience in the delivery of health, safety and environmental hazmat testing & consultancy services to offshore sectors (UK, Netherlands, Norway, West and North Africa). Between 2008-2018 we have completed over 150 individual projects offshore for the sector, covering environmental monitoring, occupational/industrial hygiene, and asbestos management.

Clients include operators, drilling companies, Tier 1 contractors and facility management. We have proven able to meet the often demanding, emergency-response requirements of this sector, whether operational, late-life or active decommissioning phases.

From working on the Ekofisk decommissioning programme in 2008 onwards we have seen increased demand for our services for decommissioning-related work; our expertise can be particularly beneficial where early expert input (inspection, surveying & testing) can ensure effective management of not only health risks but also control over potential project costs and programming risks presented by asbestos and other hazardous materials offshore.

The company holds UKAS accreditation for a range of services, as well as BSI certification for ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 and is experienced with a range of contract formats, including service-level agreements, partnering and use of project-specific KPI’s.
