Maersk Drilling has landed a 19-monthplugging and abandonment (P&A) contract with TotalEnergies and Petrogas through a rig-sharing agreement.
The deal, worth $43 million excluding bonuses, is expected to begin in Q2/Q3 this year for the Maersk Resolute jack-up, kicking off directly after its current contract with ONE-Dyas.
Maersk Drilling will decommission 11 wells for TotalEnergies and 20 wells with Petrogas, all in the Dutch sector.
