Join Decom Mission in Aberdeen for an exclusive event hosted at ASCO’s purpose built, SEPA permitted NORM facility.

To meet anticipated demand, this event will be delivered through identical morning and afternoon sessions. Each session will give attendees the opportunity to tour the ASCO site and hear directly from the ASCO team about the practical realities of managing NORM within decommissioning activities.

Radioactive material can accumulate throughout an asset lifetime and can be problematic during the late life and decommissioning phases, requiring specialist waste management techniques. These sessions will draw on recent project experience and ASCO’s industry insight, examining common challenges, practical solutions and opportunities for the wider decommissioning community to strengthen safety, efficiency, and control in waste management practices.
