Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK and Ireland makes multi-million-pound investment

Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK and Ireland – a leading provider of temporary industrial and offshore rental equipment – has made a multi-million-pound investment following a substantial growth period, and to drive future growth.

To meet ever-increasing demand for its rental equipment, the company has strategically invested in an extensive range of new assets. This includes power generators, electric and diesel-driven air compressors, nitrogen generators, and associated accessories.

To facilitate the growth, the company has also significantly bolstered its team of experts, increasing its workforce from 36 to 51 employees over the past eighteen months.

In addition, the investment will also see the company further upgrade its South Shields and Dundee depots – which have recently undergone a revamp – in line with its sustainability goals. This includes the installation of electric heating to remove dependency on natural gas and the installation of more solar panels to reduce CO2 emissions.

Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK and Ireland specialises in the provision of state-of-the-art temporary compressed air, nitrogen, power modules, subsea cleaning and flow equipment for short or long-term demands, planned contingencies or unexpected emergencies.

Its equipment is designed, manufactured, and tested to comply with ISO-1217 regulations; is built with API specifications in mind, and all units are fitted within DNV 2.7-1 lifting frames for offshore deployment, as well as rig safe compliance. In addition, its advanced control and monitoring systems ensure optimum performance and internet, satellite or mobile networks make field follow-up easier.

Sean Clemens, UK sales and business development manager for Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK and Ireland, said: “At Atlas Copco Specialty Rental we pride ourselves on staying ahead in an ever-evolving market. Our investment in cutting-edge equipment and the expansion of our expert team reflect our commitment to not just meeting but exceeding the demands of our clients.

“It’s fantastic that we have had such a strong year and that we are proactively investing in our future, be that bolstering our portfolio or further driving forward our sustainability commitments.

“I am excited about the future, and we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers as we continue on this trajectory of success.”

In addition to its rental assets, Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK and Ireland also provides a host of supporting services including freight and logistics; installation, commissioning and decommissioning; fuel management and energy management; on-site operators; training, supervision, and specialist technicians (GWO and BOSIET certified).
