KPL Directors Alasdair Ferguson and Colin Ortlepp along with General Manager at the Port, Mike Bauermeister and Operational and Projects Manager, Kevin Ferguson recently visited the Howard Doris Centre in Lochcarron to hand over a cheque for the grand total of £10k to the managers and staff at the centre.

The money raised was part of KPL “Caring in the Community Campaign” to raise supporting funds for worthy causes in the area close to the port. The funds were ably supported by two off shore drilling companies, who had assets being looked after and supported at the port recently, namely Diamond Off Shore Drilling Ltd, with their Semi- Submersible drilling rig the “Ocean GreatWhite” and Altera Infrastructure Ltd with the FPSO “Voyageur Spirit”. The Directors visited the head offices of both companies in Aberdeen to receive the funds to pass onto the Howard Doris Centre. Chris Rennie of Diamond Off Shore Drilling and Andy Sutherland (on behalf or Mark Williams and John Mason) handed over the cheques to our KPL Directors in Aberdeen on behalf of their respective companies and their teams.

The funds were subsequently passed onto board members and staff, David Murray, Helen Murchison and Ann Mackay, Coordinator of the “Howard Doris Centre” to name but a few which was very well received.
